Two Jade Plaques, China, a rectangular plaque carved in high relief with deer, crane, and bird group with lingzhi sprig and a full moon, carved border in openwork with flower scrolls, the stone of semi-translucent celadon color; together with an ovoid plaque carved and pierced with a scholar playing zither amidst leafy scrolls, semi-translucent white jade, 3 1/8 x 2 1/8, 2 3/4 x 2 in.
