Mahogany Four-Column Shelf Clock by Heman Clark, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1820, painted iron dial attributed to Boston dial painters Curtis and Nolan and signed H. Clark, Plymouth, Con., Arabic numerals, gilt scroll and shell decorated spandrels, original reverse-painted tablet with shell and leaf stenciled border on a blue ground and gilt band framing a domestic dwelling, eight-day time and strike skeletonized plate movement with rack and snail strike, recoil escapement, two compound-suspended lead weights and regulated by a brass faced pendulum, ht. 26 in.
