Dickens, Charles (1812-1870), Master Humphrey's Clock (The Old Curiosity Shop, and Barnaby Rudge), London: Chapman and Hall, April 1840-November, 1841, first edition in original twenty parts, in original pictorial wraps, with red morocco clamshell box, illustrated by G. Cattermole and H.K. Browne (Phiz) and printed by Bradbury and Evans, with the advertisement leaves, lacking ads for Rippon & Burton in part I, part XI, John Cumberland & Son, and part XIV, bound incorrectly, part XX with George Virtue ads inserted at back., 8vo, (issues neatly rebacked with cloth tape, minor smudging and spotting, dog eared, occasional minor tears).
