Churchill, Sir Winston L.S., (1874-1965), Signed letter, October 8, 1948, one page, to Ambassador Henry Stebbins of the United States, posted to Uganda, declining that he cannot accept the invitation from Mr. Paul Hoffman to speak at the Automobile Manufacturers Association in Detroit, (punch hole upper left, else excellent); together with a signed letter from John Kenneth Galbraith and a signed letter from Winston Churchill's private secretary, N.E. Sturdee, (very good), three pieces total.
