Antique Enamel and Hairwork Memorial Pendant, centering a watercolor on ivory depicting a mourning maiden beneath a cherub with the motto "The Dead Shall Live The Living Die" near a gold and seed pearl columnar monument, with braided hairwork border and enamel edge, reverse with blue guilloche enamel, gold mount, 2 1/8 x 1 3/4 in., (losses).
Estimate $500-700

Curling to ivory panel. One seed pearl separated. Wording on monument faded. Reverse with uneven surface, and evidence of old solder. Scuffing to crystal.
