Louis XIV Walnut Fauteuil, c. 1700, with upholstered backrest and seat, scrolled arms and foliate carved hand-holds on curved supports, scrolled legs and serpentine stretchers, seat ht. 18, wd. 19, dp. 18 in.
Overall good condition with nice color and decent carving; all feet with two inches of replaced wood at bottom of feet and left front foot with additional 2 inch replaced piece just above it; old tack holes visible on arm supports; age typical additional defects: frame not examined.
