Pair of Victorian Blackamoor Hall Figures, late 19th century, comprising male and female standing figures in gilded and polychrome painted exotic dress, each with one raised arm holding a cornucopia fitted as a candleholder, ht. 52 1/2 and 52 3/4 in.
the female figure with a break through her raised arm. heavy paint restoration, especially to heads, torsos, and limbs, with some surface flaking, and lifting, especially to chest and arm of male figure. (Areas without heavy paint restoration seem to be the skirts).
