Italian Carved Alabaster Bust and Pedestal, late 19th century, the bust of a maiden with upswept hair, a lily stem tucked in her bodice, signed indistinctly to back, possibly Cipriani, ht. approx. 22 1/2, on pedestal with rectangular top, on spiral fluted base, and round foot, ht. 37 1/4 in.
the stem of the socle broken through, and in need of repair. some yellowing to surface of bust. minor chipping and handling wear.
