Aesthetic Movement Walnut Pedestal, c. 1880, circular revolving top with molded edge above a pinched neck and tapered stem carved with lappets, band of flowering vines on a stippled ground and elongated ribbing, on a circular foot, ht. 40, dia. 16 1/2 in.

Top with finish crazing and scattered gouging and denting; base with scatttered skrinkage throughout and two long cracks; carving very good and color good; age typical additional minor defects.
