Famille Rose Wine Cup, China, Guangxu period (1875-1908), finely modeled and painted as a lotus blossom, the slender curved handle in the form of a leafy branch, with "Da Qing Guangxu san shi si nian Anhui Taihu fu jin qiu cao jinian bei" (Souvenir cup made for the occasion of autumn military training in the Taihu area of Anhui province in the thirty-fourth year of Guanxu reign in Qing dynasty" (equivalent to 1908) rare mark on the back of the handle, 4 3/4 x 5 in.Provenance: Charles Chu Collection.
