Two Neale-type Pottery Figures, England, late 18th/early 19th century, overglaze enamel decorated figures, one depicting a woman with an apron of fish, the other a man starting a fire with a magnifying glass in one hand, a branch in the other hand, on square bases, (imperfections), ht. 6 7/8 in.
Estimate $200-250

woman- repair to hat brim/head area, naturalistic base retouch
man- reapired hat, right arm, cape furls; retouch on naturalistic base.
