Description:

Plains or Plateau Beaded Wood, Hide, and Cloth Woman's Saddle and Stirrups, rawhide-covered wood saddle, the hide and cloth covering with geometric beaded flap decoration off the horns, the covering probably dates later than the saddle, the stirrups have classic Crow beaded flaps and probably date to the last quarter 19th century, lg. of saddle 24 1/2, lg. of stirrups, 8 in.
