Assembled Silver "Knot" Pattern Partial Flatware Service, 19th and 20th century, French items by various makers comprising: eighteen place spoons (lg. approx. 8 1/4),eighteen dinner forks (lg. 8 1/4),six seafood forks, three mustard spoons, two tablespoons, a sauce ladle, a carving fork, and a soup ladle; German articles comprising: fifteen luncheon forks (lg. 7 1/4),sixteen tablespoons (lg. 7 1/4),seventeen luncheon knives (lg. 7 3/4); American items comprising: eighteen Gebelein dinner knives (lg. 9 1/4),eleven Gorham "Old French" knives (lg. 8 3/4),six Gorham "Old French butter spreaders; a Crosby & Brown coin cake server, and a Lincoln & Reed sterling sauce ladle; monograms, approx. 166 troy oz. weighable silver; sold with a group of Christofle plated "Knot" pieces comprising: twelve place spoons, twelve dinner forks (lg. 8 1/4),twelve dinner knives (lg. 10 1/4 in.),six gold-washed dessert knives, two pierced serving spoons, and a sauce ladle, monogrammed.

All with silver items with some usage wear. all silver forks with age wear to tines.
most of the German knives with denting to end of handle, and with surface wear.
Gebelein knives with Sheffield stainless blades, some with visible solder at join of handle to blade, and a few with some possible strengthening repairs at this area; not monogrammed; minor surface wear.
Crosby & Brown cake server with metal tear to blade (approx. 1/2"),and with related crease across blade.
Gorham butter spreaders with bends/gouging to tip of blade (i.e. from prying open a can, etc.). All Gorham items with age wear and usage pinpoints.
