Sterling Coin-mounted Open Salts, San Francisco, late 19th century, round, each mounted with five small international coins, including Britain, Hawaii, Mexico, the United States, and Canada, most mid to late 19th century, with a few late 18th century, dia. 1 3/4, with ten Gorham "Colonial" pattern salt spoons, lg. 2 1/8 in., monogrammed, all in fitted chartreuse satin-lined and velvet-covered Shreve box, approx. 11 troy oz.
