Gorham Sterling Coffeepot, c. 1852, pear shaped, the domed lid mounted with a floriform finial, with crabstock handle, spout, and openwork feet, the body engraved with pattern of navettes enclosing stylized seaweed on stippled ground, offset with central navettes chased and embossed with florals, engraved with names and dated 1852 to one side, ht. 9 3/4 in., approx. 34 troy oz.
