Federal Cherry, Wavy Birch, and Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Desk/Bookcase, probably New Hampshire, c. 1800-10, in two sections, the upper section with hinged doors opening to eight drawers with bird's-eye maple diamonds and six valanced compartments, set into lower section of four cockbeaded drawers and fold-out writing surface, brasses appear to be original, old surface, (imperfections),ht. 59, wd. 41, dp. 20 in.
