Description:

Federal Mahogany Inlaid and Mahogany Veneer Bowfront Chest of Drawers, possibly Delaware, c. 1800-10, the case of four graduated cockbeaded drawers on slightly flaring French feet with banded and string inlay, brasses appear to be original, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 35 1/2, wd. 41 1/4, dp. 22 1/2 in.

Note: A handwritten note in pen attached to the backboard reads: "My Grandmother Reynolds Bureau, bought from the old house on the Plantation, 'White Clay Creek,' 3 miles from Wilmington, Delaware."
