Three Schafer Vater Bisque Porcelain Novelty Figures, Germany, early 20th century, unmarked, depicting caricatures of black children, including a figure of a little girl holding and feeding a lizard or crocodile, ht. 3 3/8, a figure of a little boy seated on a stool holding a giant green apple, ht. 4 3/8, and a figure of a pelican holding a child in its beak, ht. 3 3/4 in.
Estimate $400-600

girl with lizard: fleabite chip to one bog toe.
pelican: possible paint touch ups to chips at tips of fingers, or simply mold roughness.
a few tiny flecks of paint rubbing throughout.
