Four Small Schafer Vater Bisque Porcelain Novelty Figurines, Germany, early 20th century, three unmarked, depicting caricatures of black children, including a figure of a crawling naked toddler impressed with mark A.K., with an associated crocheted bonnet, ht. 2, a figure of a recumbent boy with white shorts, a pig with a four-leaf clover sitting on his back,1 7/8, a figure of a crocodile with a boy in its mouth, the boy in white shorts, eating a slice of watermelon, ht. 1 1/8, and figural group of three girls in white dress sitting on a bench, holding a giant slice of watermelon, ht. 2 1/4 in.
