China Boy with Unusual Costume, Germany, c. 1860, attributed to Kestner, glazed porcelain shoulder head with painted and molded features, short black hair with finely brush stroked bangs, blue eyes, closed mouth, all-kid body, black painted boots, wearing an extensively embroidered black wool costume with velvet trim, metal belt buckle and cap with metal stars and matching necklace, ht. 21 in., (excellent).
