Papier-mache Jester Pull-Toy, Germany, c. 1860, papier-mache head with blue painted eyes, finely painted whimsical brows, cotton batting beard and hair, mechanical wooden body holding staff with bells, atop a wheeled marbleized-paper-covered platform, wearing cotton outfit and matching hat with Dresden paper trim, ht. 16 in., (very good, tip of nose re-glued).
