Nine Silver and Silver Metal Matchsafes, late 19th/early 20th century, five American: one with girdle of entwined snakes, a border of stylized hissing dragon/snake, Rococo Revival with scrollwork and cherub busts, an unmarked scroll and flower engraved, and an Unger Brothers Art Nouveau stamped to one side with the bust of a maiden with an incense burner; one English, Birmingham, 1884; a German .800 piano forte form; and two silver metal, one with sliding lid device, the other formed as the face of a man, monograms, lg. to 2 5/8 in., approx. 6 troy oz. total.
