Note: Property from the estate of Lady Gosford. The Countess of Gosford (nee Beatrice Claflin) was an American heiress who married the fifth Earl of Gosford, a decorated veteran of the Boer and First World Wars. After their wedding in 1928, the couple sailed immediately for London, where Lady Gosford purchased her first Rolls Royce.
