Brook signed "Edward Hill." l.r., inscribed "Painted by Edward Hill/Oregon"
on the stretcher, Verdant unsigned, with a label from Plymouth State College, Department of Art and Art Galleries, Plymouth, New Hampshire, affixed to the reverse.
Oil on canvas, sizes to 17 1/4 x 13 1/2 in. (43.8 x 34.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Brook with craquelure, Verdant lined, scattered retouch.
