Carved and Painted Wooden Indian Tobacconist Figure, America, late 19th century, carved Native American wearing a feathered headdress and belt, a blue cloak draped across his shoulders, fringed tunic and leggings; holding a bundle of cigars in one hand and to his chest, mounted on original carved tapered wooden base, old repainted surface, (imperfections), overall ht. 69 1/2, base 19 1/2 x 21 in.
Estimate $2,500-3,500

Several age splits: several on back side, left side of head down to bottom of tunic, one down one leg and across to over other foot , several smaller ones.
