Three Painted Wooden Items: Axe, Abacus, and a Dome-top Box, America, 19th to early 20th century, the axe painted red and black, the abacus frame painted green, the box painted green over earlier red, (imperfections), axe lg. 31 1/2, abacus 9 1/2 x 11 3/4, box ht. 7, wd. 15, wd. 7 3/4 in.

axe with angled break on handle which has been glued but still with a wide sliver of loss, corner loss on head, and paint wear; abacus- paint wear; box lacking handlepaint wear coner wear.
