Description:

Amethyst Blown Glass Covered Sugar Bowl, probably America, early 19th century, applied swirled ribbed finial on cover, the bowl with applied petal foot, (small chip on foot),ht. 6 1/2 in.
Estimate $800-1,200

1/4 in. chip on one petal of foot, the top of the finial has a small chip but may be where it was cut when it was made.
