Roach Pocahontas & Hoqual, early 20th century reproduction, after the painting by Thomas Birch from a sketch by C.B. Hulsart, engraved, printed, and colored by J. Hill, published by Hulsart. Identified in inscriptions in the matrix, hand-colored lithograph on paper, sheet size 19 3/4 x 26 5/8 in., in a carved and molded wood frame. Condition: Margins of 1 1/2 in. or more, lower margin trimmed, with loss of remainder of title and text, minor toning and creases.
