Mahogany Pillar and Scroll Clock by Eli & Samuel Terry, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1824-27, the scroll top and three brass urn finials over the painted wooden dial with Roman numerals, free-standing columns flanking the door with lower painted tablet of a country scene, 30-hour time and strike wooden movement with count wheel strike, pendulum and period cast iron weights, ht. 31 in.
Estimate $2,500-3,500

Scrolls are essentially original although broken and repaired numerous times, painted tablet is original with minor losses, feet have been broken, some glue blocks gone, but essentially original.
