Four-Piece George III Silver Tea and Coffee Service, London, ovoid teapot, creamer and open sugar, 1809-10, Thomas Wallis & Jonathon Hayne, makers, with gadrooned rim, engraved with girdle of running hops, grape, and acorn vine, on ball feet, teapot ht. 5 7/8, and a similar coffeepot, 1809, Thomas Wallis, maker, with gadrooned rim, engraved with tulip girdle, and mottoed crest, on oblong foot and ball feet, ht. 8 3/4 in., approx. 64 troy oz.

Coffeepot is associated, as the girdle engraving is of running florals, rather than hops. All with age typical usage wear.
Coffeepot: some opening of seams to corners of handle. Monogram worn away at plaque to one side.
Creamer and sugar: both with repairs to slender end of handles. Usage wear and interior scratching. Wear to engraving.
Teapot: one side of body with large oval section of silver let-in (approx. 4 x 1 1/2"),which is now engraved with a mottoed heart crest. Other side with monogram worn nearly away. Lid finial pushed down at top. Light dings to tip of spout. Thumb-sized dent above one foot. Pinpoint to end of handle.
