Fine Bisque Bru Jne. 3 Bebe, impressed Bru Jne 3 on head and Bru Jne No. 3 on shoulderplate, with pressed bisque swivel head on kid-lined shoulder plate with moulded breasts and shoulder blades, closed mouth with delicate outline and tongue, fixed threaded cornflower blue paperweight eyes with dark liner circling the upper lids, "mismatched" feathered brows, pierced ears with glass drop earrings, original brown mohair wig on cork pate, sprung neck joint, Chevrot body with scalloped neckline and paper label (missing lower right section),kid-covered wood upper arms, shapely bisque lower arms, articulated thighs and carved and painted wood lower legs, in period home-made black and red striped cotton dirndle, lawn split drawers, petticoat, chemise, pintucked muslin blouse with broderie anglasise decoration, knitted maroon stockings, and leather shoes stamped Bru Jne Paris, ht. 14 1/2 in., (tiny piercing chip on left ear, very minor rubs on right eyebrow and lower cheeks).

Overall fine original condition. Doll was purchased by the seller in 1968.

Head has been litghted and appears free of damage. Very Minor rubs on lower cheeks and right eyebrow as noted. Small unpainted spot above hair line on wig aperture. Small factory chip on inside of head at wig aperture. Shoulderplate is loosely held in place with period steel tacks. Shoulder plate and lower arms appear perfect. Some acceptable wear on body. Clothing is period, if not original. Silk ribbons that fasten dress at shoulders are very fragile.
