14kt Gold "Daytona Cosmograph" Wristwatch, Rolex, ref. no. 6241, c. 1969, the black dial with abstract numeral indicators and goldtone subsidiary dials, black bezel with units per mile register, round pushers and Rolex crown, enclosing 17-jewel automatic movement, serial no. 2084350, completed by a Rolex leather band and buckle closure, 36 mm.

Note: This unusual pre-1970 model Daytona, with its contrasting color susbidiary dials, each with central crosshairs and block indicators, is popularly known as the "Paul Newman". Newman wore a Daytona of these characteristics when he took up auto racing in 1972.
