Description:

Pair of Translucent Sapphire Blue and Clambroth Glass Candlesticks, Boston & Sandwich Glass Company, Sandwich, Massachusetts, 1840-60, (minor petal and base chips), ht. 6 3/4 in.

Provenance: One candlestick ex Pamela and Don Levine Collection of American Glass and Lighting, with auction label affixed to base. The collection was sold at Northeast Auctions in three sessions in 2004 and 2005.
Estimate $600-800

Stick 1- six peatals each with small edge chips, three loops have a small chip, a few minor base edge chips; Stick 2- small chips to the underside of each petal, small chip on one loop, two small chips on base edge.
