Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Jug, E.S. Fox, Atrhens, New York, 1838-43, two-gallon jug decorated with a cobalt blue stylized flower, and blue daubed handle terminal, indistinct impressed maker's marks, (potstone burst, base edge chips), ht. 14 1/8 in.
Estimate $250-350

fairly unobtrusive potstone burst in the making about 1 1/2 in. to the left of flower design, about seven shalllow base edge chips 1/2- 3/4 in.
