Two Portneuf Pottery Stick Spatter Decorated Bowls with WWI Decoation, Scotland, late 19th/early 20th century, one bowl with cottage and bagpiper border in red, green, and blue, with inscription "Keep The Home Fires Burning Till The Boys Come Home," the other bowl with crown and flag border in red and blue and inscription "ARE WE DOWNHEARTED NO!" (imperfections),ht. 2 1/4, 2, dia. 6 5/8, 7 3/4 in.
Estimate $300-500

bowl 1- 1 1 /2 in. hairline from rim, brownish discoloration; bowl 2- 2 1/4 in hairline from rim, brownish discoloration.
