Woven Wool and Cotton Three-color Beiderwand Coverlet, Henry and Andrew Seifert, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 1844, two-piece coverlet, the center fileld with clusters of rose blossoms and buds bordered by sunbursts and flower clusters, double corner blocks on two corners with an urn issuing a flower and the inscription "MANUFACTURED BY H. & A. SEIFERT MECHANICSBURG CUMBERLAND Co PA 1844," in red, blue, and green wool on a creamy white cotton ground, fringed on three sides, 95 x 87 in., excluding fringe.
