Peak Bristol, Conn." ink on paper, depicting Napoleon mounted on a on a rearing horse over a verse insribed , "Napoleon the modern, mightiest far/Who, born no king, made monarchs draw his car./Whose game was empires, and whose stakes were thrones/Whose table, earth, whose dice were human bones.," 12 x 14 1/4 in., in an ogee grain-painted frame. Condition: Minor toning, scattered foxing, crease l.r. corner, loss u.r.
