Wool Needlework Picture of Village, Shepherd, and Sheep, c. 1750 two-piece needlework panel showing a scene with a brick house, fence, and cottages in the distance, with a couple and a shepherd and sheep in the foreground (toning, separations), 13 x 20 in., in a later molded wood frame.
There is a seam left of center where the two pieces are joined together. About 1/2 in. angled tear or separation on foreground of brick house to the right of shepherd''s crook and another angled one going through one of the houses at u.l. and another vertical separation at far u.l.; a small 1/2 in. area of stitch loss at u.l. corner
