Needlework Atwood Family Register, "Wrought by Frances M. Atwood Goffstown [New Hampshire] July 26 1828," wrought in silk threads on a linen ground, with weeping willow trees and a flowering vine surrounding the vital statistics of Stephen Atwood (b. May 19, 1790), his wife Amity (b. March 4 1795) and their nine children, (toning, small hole, light stains, stitch losses on edges under frame), 20 1/2 x 18 in., in a contemporary molded giltwood frame.

Originally with sawtooth border mostly hidden by frame but what is visible you can see stitch losses small hole to background fabric under initial of fourth child''s name.
