Two Silver Spoons, Daniel Boyer, Boston, 1725-79 and Barnabus Webb, Boston and Thomaston, Maine, c. 1729-95, the spoons each with spatulate ends, mid-rib handles, and oval bowls, one with long drop and scallop shell, inscribed "RD" and marked "BOYER" in a rectangle on the back of the handle; the other with broad drop and webbed shell, inscribed "EW to EH" on the handle and marked "BW" in a rectangle and lion pseudo hallmark, lg. 7 5/8, 8 in., respectively, approx. 4 troy oz.
Provenance: Descended through the Cushing family of Hingham, Massachusetts.
