1956 neck probably refinished in 1962 at factory with 1962 headstock decal, string tree. Date on end of neck has been rubbed out, body possibly re-routed or replaced with ash equivalent c. 1962, due to routing pattern and shoulder, was never drilled for 11-screw pick guard.
Pick-ups and knobs correct, pot dates 5th week of 1956, pick-up resistance reading; neck 6K Ohm, middle 5.7K Ohm, bridge 5.8K Ohm, weight 7lbs 13 oz, (average).
