Signed and sealed "... D. WU JECT-KEY" in Chinese and English l.l.
Oil on canvas, 16 x 20 in. (40.6 x 50.8 cm), framed.
Condition: Surface grime, small canvas deformations, craquelure.
Provenance: The estate of Sir Edwin A.G. Manton.
N.B. Ject-Key was born in Chung-shan, China, and immigrated to the United States before 1931. A resident of New York City for most of his adult life, he studied at the Art Students League and the Grand Central School of Art. He exhibited extensively between the mid-1950s to early 1960s, including at the National Academy of Design, The American Watercolor Society, and the Grand Central Art Galleries.

Two small dents to the canvas in the l.l. quadrant, largest approx. 1/2 x 1/2 in., vertical cracking predominant to u.r. and u.l. quadrants.
