Federal Wavy Birch and Mahogany and Bird's-eye Maple Inlaid Chest of Drawers, probably Massachusetts, c. 1810, in two sections, the top with two hinged doors inlaid with bird's-eye maple ovals within mahogany mitered panels, opening to an interior of four drawers and seven compartments, on lower section of case of four cockbeaded drawers with mahogany veneer bordered by bird's-eye maple banding, brasses appear to be original, refinished, (minor restoration),ht. 62, wd. 39 1/2, dp. 19 3/4 in.
