Dagger / Short Sword, probably Milanese, c. 1580, with tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, chiseled openwork guard and pommel with design of interlaced looped strapwork and rectangular chain links, in later scabbard, lg. 16 1/8 in., (blade pitted).
