Parvo Interview Motion Picture Camera, Etablissements Andre Debrie, Paris, c. 1908-1913, 35mm, with hand-cranked mechanism operated from side or back, walnut-veneered case with lacquered-brass fittings, strap, pop-up finder, engraved makers plaque and retailer's plaque of Motion Picture Apparatus Co. Inc., Manufacturers & Importers of Studio & Laboratory Equipment, New York, and a Zeiss / E. Krauss Tessar f/3.5 5cm lens no. 139130, in maker's leather case, (case slightly faded, light scuff marks from crank on side, otherwise fine original condition).

Note: Accompanying the camera is the original retailer's shipping ticket addressed to John Nicholas Brown, Knickerbocker Club, 62 St. & 5 Ave.The Knickerbocker Club is a private men's club in New York City. Founded in 1871, it moved to its present location on East 62nd St and 5th Avenue in 1913. John Nicholas Brown was a member of the prominent Brown family of Providence, Rhode Island, whose name (two brothers, John and Nicholas) appears amongst the founding signatories of Brown Univeristy.
