Nathaniel Currier, publisher (American, 1813-1888)

WOODCOCK SHOOTING., 1855 (Conningham 6773). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Small folio lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 9 5/8 x 13 3/4 in., in a contemporary molded wood frame. Condition: Margins 1/2 in. or more, light toning, repaired tears and losses and creases in margins.

Note: This lithograph ranks no. 38 in the original Best 50, small folio.
Estimate $300-500

no damge into image but several repaired margin tears, l.r. corner replaced, image is a little faded.
