Federal Cherry-cased Tall Clock, Whiting & Marquand, Fairfield, Connecticut, c. 1787-91, with sheet brass dial engraved "Whiting & Marquand, Fairfield" in the arch, recessed day of the month dial, Roman numerals and eight-day weight-driven time and strike movement with tin-cased weights, wooden pendulum rod and brass bob, (refinished, crest, plinths and finials are replacements),ht. 94 in.
