Brook Trout Fishing. An Anxious Moment., 1862, (Conningham, 703). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Large folio lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 21 5/8 x 29 7/8 in., unframed. Condition: Margins of 1 3/8 in. or more, several repaired tears, five into image, margins lightened with some re-ink over inscriptions.

the repaired tears and re-ink inscriptions are well done and indetectable unless on very close inspection: about a 3 in. tear in trees above man''s raised shoulder, another about an inch on his jacket, a tiny repair in foliage u.r., a repaired tear into image about 1 1/2 in. at rockery at c.r., a repaired tear about 1 in. into image at c.l. in brush on rockery, plus several other small margin edge tears.
