N.B. Impressionist painter Lesser Ury was born in Brinbaum, Germany, but moved to Berlin with his family in 1972, following the death of his father. The city of Berlin provided a constant source of inspiration for Ury, who is best known for his urban landscapes under dark cloud-filled or moonlit skies.
Estimate $3,000-5,000

Oil on paper laid down to board. Signature appears to be in pen, slightly overcleaned. Minor inpainting in the area of the bridge arch.
