Southwest Polychrome Pottery Olla, Zuni, c. last quarter 19th century, the high-shoulder compressed form with a banded pattern of two-color heartline deer and birds on a cream-colored background, (crack, loss at rim), ht. 9 1/2, dia. 14 in.
Provenance: From the estate of Dr. Donald S. Marshall, collected by anthropologist Dr. Edward C. Handy while traveling in the southwest in the 1920s.
